Martin Carlsson of the Swedish newspaper Expressen has penned the following report for BLABBERMOUTH.NET on CARCASS' first reunion show:

"CARCASS played their first show since reuniting at Sweden Rock Festival [Friday night]. Unfortunately, the sound engineer didn't bring his ears to Sweden and the bass drums overshadowed whatever frontman Jeff Walker and guitarists Bill Steer and Mike Amott were playing. Jeff Walker's vocals weren't top-notch either.

"The most touching moment was when original drummer Ken Owen was brought up on stage. ARCH ENEMY skinsman Daniel Erlandsson [is filling] in during CARCASS' reunion run. Few knew that Ken Owen was in such a bad condition. Someone described it as 'shocking' to see one of the greatest blastbeats drummers ever being helped up to the drum podium. Ken fiddled around on the drums for about a minute before he left the stage. Jeff urged him to come out again to say a few words and Ken thanked the audience for supporting CARCASS. The entire audience chanted 'Ken, Ken, Ken!' and afterwards people couldn't stop taking about this touching moment."
